ACTIVITIES
held from 18th January to 27th January 2012
TU B’ SHVAT
Trees are one of the most
beautiful elements of the ecosystem. They are
equally important. To make our
children aware of the importance of trees, the
Preprimary section celebrated ‘Tu B’ Shvat ‘ day
on 27th
January 2012 in their respective classes. It is
celebrated in Isreal as the ‘Trees Birthday’.
The teachers
explained the children the importance of
celebration of this day. The nursery children
made lovely hand print
tree cutouts, the Junior Kg planted mustard /
Fenugreek seeds in small plastic glasses and the
Senior Kg made
food mats of paper with different leaf prints on
it. The entire section looked green.

Visit to a Garden
Children of Senior K.G. were
taken for a field trip to Mahaveer garden on
25th January 2012. They were shown
all the trees, flora and fauna and explained
their importance. They were also enlightened
about the
ecosystem. Children rejoiced thoroughly by
playing various games and enjoying the garden
atmosphere. The
trip was arranged to reinforce the theme
‘Protect our planet’..

Republic Day –
Celebrations
The Preprimary section
celebrated ‘Republic Day’ on 25th January 2012
in their respective classes. First the
teachers explained the children the importance
of this day, its celebration all over India ,the
Flag hoisting
ceremony at Delhi and about the President and
Prime minister of India. Then the Nursery
children made
attractive tri colored fans and stood up for the
National Anthem as a gesture of respect. The
Junior K.G.
children made circular tri colored badges and
the Senior K.G. made wonderful tri colored
badges of flower
cutouts. The atmosphere was very Patriotic.

What do Chefs /
bakers do?’.
Nursery children had a gala
time on 24th January 2012, as they had a special
day of ‘ What do Chefs / bakers
do?’. The teachers performed the roles of Chef
and baker perfectly along with all the
accessories like aprons
,caps and their appliances - Oven,
Spatula, baking tray and others. They
demonstrated their jobs through role play. The
children learnt new
words like batter, icing sugar, moulds etc. They
also learnt the process of making one of their
favourite
delicacy the cake and were happy to have it.
Throughout the session the teacher enlightened
the children
about the roles of these community helpers. This
day was conducted to reinforce the concept of
Community
helpers ‘Chef’ and ‘Baker’ for the theme ‘
People at work’.

Carpenter Visits
‘Carpenter Visits’ was a
special day conducted for the Nursery children
on 23rd January 2012 in the class. A
carpenter visited the class with his tools like
saw, hammer, nails, screw driver, screws , sand
paper and
demonstrated his activities like cutting a log
of wood, hammering the nails , screwing the pegs
etc. The
teacher enlightened the children about the job
of a carpenter. This was followed by the
activity of coloring
a tree with leaf and sawdust and a question
answer session related to the carpenter and his
tools. This
Day was conducted to reinforce the theme ‘People
at Work’.

Doctor / Nurse
dress up day.
‘Doctor / Nurse dress up day’
was conducted for the Nursery children on
20/1/12 in their class to reinforce
the topic ‘Community helpers – The Doctor and
the Nurse.’ Most of the children had come
dressed up as Doctors
and a few as Nurses. One corner of the classroom
was set up as a Doctors clinic and the other as
a
Veterinarians clinic . The teacher explained to
the children the importance of these community
helpers along
with the uses of their tools like syringe,
stethoscope and others. The children also did a
mock checking of
the patients enacted by the teachers then they
sang and danced to the tune of “ I am a happy
Doctor” It was
an enjoyable day.

Clean city Green
city
Senior K.G. children had a
Special activity on 18th January 2012, called
“Clean city Green city “. The
children cleaned up an outdoor area in the
school and their respective classrooms. They
collected the dry
garbage which is non reusable in one tub and the
wet garbage like vegetable and fruit peels ,
paper etc
which is biodegradable in another tub. The
teacher had already explained to them the
concept and created
awareness of Compost pit. Every child was very
curious to help in cleaning up the area. They
wore badges of
‘Earth Pal’ and were proud to do so. Two
children carried posters of ‘Clean city Green
city’ and ‘ Clean
city dream city ‘during the session. They also
planted saplings to give the message of green
city. All the
children were overjoyed during this activity and
felt glad that they had contributed towards
cleanliness.
The aim of this activity was to make the
children aware about keeping their environment
clean and green.

The Preprimary section
celebrated ‘Makar Sankranti’ also known as ‘Kite
festival’on 13th January 2012. The children were
taken out on the ground to fly kites with the
help of their teachers and the sports teacher.

A BUG’S LIFE
Our Nursery children also go
for watching movies …
A special day of Movie watch called : “ A Bug’s
life “ was conducted for the nursery children on
05/01/12 in the school . It was an entertaining
movie portraying different kinds of insects
their characteristics and their life styles.
Different scenes like ants making a line and
marching to carry food to the anthill amused the
kids. The teacher explained to them the entire
story. This day was conducted to reinforce the
theme “Creepy Crawlies”

Visit to an
Aquarium
The New Year 2012, began with
full swing for our Junior K.G. children with a
field trip .
They visited the aquarium at Mahaveer garden on
4th January’12. They were shown various kinds of
fishes like guppies, angles, tetras, gurami and
even a turtle. The teacher gave a brief
explanation of these fishes. This visit enhanced
their knowledge of the theme ‘ Marine
Creatures’. After the trip the children were
very anxious to share their experience with
everyone.

held from 20th December to 23rd December 2011
Christmas
celebration
Santa Claus visited our
preprimary children on 23rd December 2011, with
gifts and sweets. 23rd December 2011 was
celebrated as Christmas day in the preprimary
section with full zeal and zest. The children
came dressed in pretty Christmas coloured
costumes. At first they did some activities in
their respective classes, like Christmas trees,
greeting cards, santa claus cutouts etc. Then
they all assembled in the dance room to view a
wonderful Christmas movie. And then finally the
children were overjoyed when Santa came in
ringing the bell, distributing sweets and gifts,
dancing with them to the tune of Jingle bells…
shaking hands, merry making wishing each other
‘Merry Christmas’ and dancing all the way… the
celebration room was decorated with a perfect
ambience of Christmas with the Christmas tree
decorated, balloons, streamers and drawings.The
Celebration was rocking indeed.

ALPHABET TREASURE
HUNT
The children of Nursery revised
their alphabets in a very amusing and innovative
way.
On 22nd Dec.’11, the nursery children celebrated
‘ Alphabet treasure hunt’ day.
Sand paper cutouts of alphabets, wooden cutouts,
concrete objects like apple, ball, cat
Dog, fish etc were used for this activity. The
alphabets were hidden under the benches, on the
chairs, between the bags and other places. The
teacher then displayed the various objects to
the children and they searched for the
corresponding alphabet. These alphabets were the
treasures they had to hunt. They thoroughly
enjoyed the game.

BUSY BUSY SPIDER
DAY
On 21st December, 2011, ‘Busy
busy spider day’ was conducted for the nursery
children. Children were well dressed in
different story characters like rooster, cat,
duck, horse, dog, cow, pig and sheep. It looked
like a real animal world. They all enacted the
characters of the story ‘Busy busy spider’ and
got involved in it. Towards the end of the story
a wonderful web was made of wool. It was a
different kind of amusement for them. This day
definitely served the purpose of enhancing their
language, visual and listening skills.

HANUKKAH
The world is like our family.
We celebrate the festivals of almost all the
races over the world. Our preprimary children
celebrated ‘Hanukkah’ the Jewish festival of
lamps which is celebrated in Israel in December.
Different grades had different follow up
activities to do. The nursery children made
attractive Dreidel photoframes, the junior kg
stars of ice cream sticks and the senior kg made
wonderful Menorah. They also enjoyed the story
of Hanukkah, the reason for its celebration.

1st December to 3rd December 2011
VIBGYOR VIVA 2011
VIBGYOR VIVA 2011, was a
euphoria! This event was celebrated for 3 days
from 1st Dec. to 3rd Dec. 2011 from 9.00 a.m. in
the morning to 9.00 p.m. Viva had a
stupendous participation of 20 different schools
, with around 1000 students.
And 300 enthusiastic parents.
Annual sports of both preprimary and the primary
& secondary section were conducted on 1st
Dec.2011. The scintillating and captivating
concerts of preprimary and the primary &
secondary sections were conducted on 2nd Dec.
and 3rd Dec. respectively.
All the three days had a host of both indoor and
outdoor competitions being conducted
simultaneously. There were 9 indoor and 14
outdoor competitions conducted in total.
Three enlightening workshops
on ‘Good parenting’, ‘Calligraphy’ and
‘Personality Development’ were arranged for the
parents and children. The entries to all
competitions and workshops were free. The
basketball trophy was taken over by St. Xavier’s
school, and the school championship trophy by
Vibgyor High with Sanjay Ghodawat school as
runners up. The concert stage was illuminated
with spotlights and LED, and the event concluded
with an awe striking display of Firecrackers and
paper blasts.
The entire team of Vibgyor High, including the
Principal, Viva Coordinator, Academic
Coordinators, teaching faculty, administration
staff and the ancillary had put in their
incessant efforts for the event to be a huge
success.

Frogy Fun Day
Froggy Fun day was celebrated
by the Nursery children on 25th November 2011.
It was all about frogs. The children were given
a detailed information of frogs with the help of
puppets and pictures. The children then made
lovely frog cutouts with chart papers and paints
making the black spots with their fingers in
black paint. They also had two frog games which
they enjoyed thoroughly. This was to reinforce
the creatures living in and around water, a part
of the theme Water world.

Children's Day
Celebration
There was fun, frolic and
laughter as the preprimary Celebrated Children’s
Day on 14th November 2011.The children were told
about the significance of celebration of this
day, to coincide with Chacha Nehru’s birthday.
An amusing puppet show was conducted, followed
by mouth watering activity of making Chocolate
balls and choco biscuit treats in the respective
classes. The Children were in elegant party
dresses. The school corridor and celebration
room were decorated with balloons , streamers,
Street scene, and huge chocolates made of
chartpapers and cellophane papers. The entire
day was marked for celebration. Children were
offered tasty snacks during the function. It was
indeed a day to remember!

Field Trip To to
Shahu Museum
On 11th November 2011, the
school had arranged a trip for Senior KG
children to Shahu Museum. The students were
briefed before hand about the concept of a
Museum,
The aim of this trip was to help the children
learn more about the importance of a Museum.
Here they saw some valuable and important
articles and things of the old era, like the
dresses worn by Kings, vessels used during that
time, Swords and other old weapons. They also
saw the pictures and Skeletons of different
birds and animals. Children learnt about the way
people lived many years ago. They really enjoyed
this trip as it kept their inquisitive minds
occupied.

Lion King Day
The second term began with a
special day for the Junior KG children. It was
‘Lion King Day’. A story of lippy the lion was
narrated to the children with the help of flash
cards. Then they made wonderful finger puppets
of lion with the help of velvet papers. This day
was conducted with an aim of providing the
children with an opportunity to enhance their
listening skills and reinforce the concept of
wild animals.

lions, tigers, snakes and a whole lot of them,
their babies, their dens, food and their ways of
living. The teacher explained the children about
the clippings before showing them the same. The
children also tried walking on their two hands
and legs like the bears and wave out their arms.
This was conducted to reinforce the theme Pet,
farm and wild animals.

Special Day – New
Wonders of the world.
Man is the most intelligent
creation of God. He has created amazing,
mesmerizing monuments, temples, structures etc.
To enlighten our children with some of these
wonders we had a special day – New Wonders of
the world for our Senior K.G. children on 19th
September 2011 in their respective classes. The
children were shown Flash cards and CD of The
Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Christ the
Redeemer, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, Petra,
Jordan and the Roman Colosseum. They were also
briefed about these structures by the teachers.
Children were awestruck to see the vivid
pictures and their magnificent glory that they
depicted. This day was conducted to reinforce
the theme “Countries of the World”.

WORLD FIESTA
The World today is like a close
knit family, due to the progress in technology.
To introduce and familiarize our children with
the World, we had arranged a Special
Day for our Senior KG children by the name of
“World Fiesta” on 21st September 2011,in the
evening. The event included prayer, poems,
entertainingdance performances by children for
various countries in the respective props, a
quiz between the children and the parents ,
national anthems of a few countries and the
relishing snack stalls. Food items of different
countries were put up, where the children helped
in collecting coupons and serving mouth watering
snacks to the parents. The food items were
priced slightly higher, as this additional money
was to be given to charity. The soft board
decoration was very informative with the world
map and flags of various countries put up.The
Pillars of the hall had flash cards of the seven
wonders of the world and currencies displayed.
It was a great event and the parents also
contributed wonderfully in making this programme
a success. This day was conducted to reinforce
the theme “ Countries of the World” for our
senior KG children.

Visit to a Milk and
Milk Products factory.
On 22nd September 2011, our
Junior KG children visited ‘Sahakar Dudh Utpadak
Sangh’factory at Gokul Shirgaon. Here, children
observed the godown of Milk powder, the process
of packing of Milk in tetra packs and butter
cubes being packed by machines. They were
briefed about the process of making Milk and
Butter. Children enjoyed this field trip
especially since it was all about their daily
food - Milk. This trip was conducted to
reinforce the topic of Milk and its products
under the theme Pet and Farm Animals.

CELEBRATION OF
RAMZAAN EID
To make our children understand
the importance and celebration of Ramzaan Eid we
celebrated Ramzaan Eid in the school on 29th
August 2011. The Nursery kids had a sweet
delicacy of ‘Sheer Khurma’ and they exchanged
dates with each other as ‘Iddi’ hugging each
other with greetings of ‘Idd Mubarak’. The
Junior K.G. chikdren enjoyed doing magic
painting of Chaand Taara on papers while the
Senior K.G. children made wonderful greetings of
Chaan Taara on black chart papers. The teachers
briefed the children about the importance of
Ramzaan and its celebration. The children
enjoyed huuging each other with greetings of
‘Idd Mubarak’.

FELICITATION
On 29th August 2011, our
Principal Mr. T. Balan felicitated our little
wonder Master Kevin Lalwani of Junior K.G. (A)
division. Kevin has many trophies and
certificates to his credit. He has stood 1st in
S.K. Roller Skating Academy, skating
championship held in 2010-2011, 1st in skating
held by National Academy for Sports and Physical
Education of India, 1st again in Vishwanath
Patil Murgud Sahakari Bank Ltd.skating
competition, Speed skating competition,
participation in Open Inter School Roller
Skating Championship and stood 2nd in Open State
Skating Championship in August 2011 organised by
Hatkanangale Roller Skating Academy. These
aceivements are definitely applaudable and
admirable. Three Cheers to Kevin, hip hip

CELEBRATION OF
GANESH CHATURTHI
According to the Hindu calendar
Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated on the 4th day of
Bhadrapad ( September). It is a big festival,
especially in Maharashtra.
To enlighten our children of this festival we
celebrated ‘Ganesh Chaturthi’ on 30th August
2011 in the school, in the respective classes.
Nursery children painted the Ganpati sketch with
a big leaf, Junior K.G. children made wonderful
wall hanging with Ganpati Sketch in the centre,
and Senior K.G. children made small cute little
Ganpati moulds from clay. It all looked very
colourful and bore a festive mood. Big drawings
of the mighty lord ‘Ganesha’ were drawn on the
blackboards, the teachers worshipped these with
cheerings of ‘Ganpati bappa moraya , pudhchya
varshi lavkar ya’ enthralling the entire
ambience.

Dingle Dangle
Scarecrow
Dingle Dangle Scarecrow was
celebrated on 7th September,2011 by the Nursery
class. This was in accordance with the concept
Pet, Farm and Wild animals. The teacher showed
the children a big scarecrow model made from a
large stick, chart papers, marble paper, hay
etc. Then they were briefed about its use in the
farm. This was followed by making of stick
puppets, which were made from box board,
children enjoyed painting it and sticking little
hay on it.. Finally everybody danced to the tune
of Dingle dangle scarecrow music. By the end of
the activity they knew the use of a scarecrow in
the farm and its appearance.

Special Event –
Visit to A Story land
Visit to a Story land was
conducted for the Junior KG children in their
respective classes, on 9th September 2011.
First, pictures of Noddy and other story
characters were showed to the children and
explained about . Then they were taken to the
Computer room and shown a clipping of ‘Noddy the
artist’. This was followed by children’s
activity wherein every child came up and spoke a
few words of his/ her favourite story character
and some even narrated their favourite stories.
They had all bought story books or cartoon cut
outs of their favourite story character. This
improved their conversation skills, and boldness
to speak in front of the class.

Parsi New Year
We at Vibgyor have a rich blend
of all important religious celebrations.
Parsi New Year or Pateti as it is called, was
celebrated on 19th August 2011 by Preprimary.
All the Nursery, Junior and Senior K.G. children
drew attractive Rangolis with wet white chalks
on black chart paper cards. They were told about
the Dagli and the prayer cap which the Parsis
wear as a traditional dress. Pictures of Parsi
men, women and children dressed in traditional
attire were shown to children. They were
enlightened about their Fire temples where the
holy fire burns continuously , their food habits
and their rejoicing of this day. The children
were amused.

PARENT TEACHER MEET
The first Parent Teacher
Meeting for the Preprimary was conducted on 20th
August 2011,
Between 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon. The respective
Class teachers had allotted time slots of around
15 minutes for the parents to meet . The Class
boards had a warm welcome drawing and the entire
atmosphere of the classes was very inviting. The
students activities along with their classwork
books were put up on the tables for the parents
to go through. These activities were taken home
by the parents. The soft boards were also self
explanatory telling about the theme and weekly
timetable . The parents gained an insight as to
how the children were taught in the classes. The
teachers enlightened the parents of their wards
progress and areas that need development. The
parents seemed to be comfortable and relaxed as
they knew exactly where their children stand and
what was expected from them.

Season Booths
We had joy, we had fun …….. we
had all the seasons under one roof on one day.
Yes, our Junior K.G. children celebrated a
special day “Season Booths” on 24th August 2011,
in the school. The children thoroughly enjoyed
themselves with sunflower making, sand pit and
water play in the Summer Booth, mushroom
printing, gumboot printing and a dance in the
Monsoon Booth, dried leaves collage in the
Autumn Booth and tasty hot soup in the Winter
Booth. All the seasons wear were put up in their
respective booths. The soft boards were
decorated with lovely charts depicting the name
and the corresponding months of that season.
Lovely cutouts and charts of fruits , vegetables
, the kind of food eaten and accessories used
during the different seasons were displayed.
These activities enhanced their knowledge of the
four seasons . The children really enjoyed all
the activities.

Grandparents Day
The much awaited Grandparents
Day was celebrated with Vigour and Vitality by
the Preprimary on 26th August 2011. The theme
for this day was a fascinating “HAWAAI” The
Nursery kids celebrated this day with their
grandparents in the morning. Most of the
children were dressed in pretty dresses with
flower rings or garlands. First a video clipping
of the grandchildren expressing their admiration
for the little things that their grandparents do
was shown along with a song expressing their
love towards them. Then the children performed a
dance on the bubbly song ‘ Hot, hot…hot’.The
grandparents then made lovely souvenirs of wrist
belts for their grandchildren, played a passing
the ball game in which the ones who were out had
to do a small performance. Lovely Mementos made
by the children were then presented to the
grandparents and the programme concluded with
refreshing snacks.
The Junior and Senior K.G. children celebrated
this day in the evening on the same day.
The entire hall looked funfilled with children
in pretty hawaain outfits. The same schedule was
followed by them. The Junior K.G. children
performed on ‘Bhumro’ while the Senior K.G. did
on ‘ You are my sunshine’. The souvenirs of
pretty hats were made by the grandparents for
their grandchildren, and the mementos presented
were garlands to the grandpas and tissue paper
flowers to grandmas. The atmosphere was robust
with enthusiasm. It was a perfect celebration
for the grandparents and the children to
remember.

5th August to 12th August 2011
Friendship Day
“Good times and fun times,
that’s what friends are for ”. To make our
children aware of the beauty and significance of
friends and to express love towards them, we
celebrated friendship day on 5th August 2011.
The Nursery toddlers made attractive lady finger
prints on the friendship bands. Junior K.G.
children decorated their bands with sequences
and Senior K.G. children had three different
colored strands of wool intertwined to form a
band. The children tied these bands on their
friends wrists in their respective classes and
wished each other. They felt honored to have the
bands on their wrists. They enjoyed this special
day .

India Day
Preprimary Section celebrated
‘India Day’ on 12th August 2011, in lieu of
Independence day. The entire section looked very
colourful and festive.
The Nursery kids were in orange, some in white
and the rest in green coloured dresses.
As an activity the kids painted their flag
badges in tri colours and these were then pinned
on their t-shirts.
The Junior K.G. children had come dressed in
traditional outfits with orange, some green and
the others with white bands on their heads. For
their activity they put their palm prints on a
large Map of India drawn on four charts
together, in orange and green colours.
The Senior K.G. children called this day ‘Hum
Hindustani’. They had come dressed in orange,
white and green t-shirts and denim shorts. As an
activity they drew a picture of a girl / boy
holding a flag and the national flower- lotus.
In their respective classes, the children were
enlightened about the importance of Independence
day, the national flag, and the qualities that
the tri colours symbolize. They all sang the
national anthem in respect of the nation.

ACTIVITIES

22nd July to 30th July 2011
Parents Day
On 22nd July 2011, the
Preprimary children celebrated Parents Day in
their respective classes at. This day was
celebrated to make the children aware of the
importance and of parents. The Nursery kids made
two decorative crowns of chart papers one for
mummy and one for daddy with the words ‘I love
you mummy” and ‘I love you daddy” written on
them. They were told the importance of parents
and to respect them by obeying them. The Junior
K.G. & Senior KG children were told that this
day is celebrated to express our happiness, love
and joy for both parents together and to thank
them for all that they do. The children made
beautiful tulip flowers of chart papers which
they were to hand over to their parents at home
as a token of gratitude. They too had to hand
this over to their parents at home. They also
took an oath that they would help their parents
and obey them. Thus, the respect and love for
parents was strongly imbibed in their minds.

Special Day
–Policeman’s Visit
Practical experience always
engraves a strong memory of that particular
incident.To get an elaborative picture of
“Policeman” which is one of the topics of our
curriculum “Professions” for our Sr.K.G.
students , the school had arranged a visit of
Police .Sub Inspector. Ms.Jamadar to the school
on 25th July 2011 at 11.00 a.m. The P.S.I. was
dressed in her uniform, and had bought the cane
and pistol too.The informative session began
with her salute ,the children reciprocated by
saluting. Then she explained their duties, their
use to the society, and uses of the accessories-
pistol, belt etc. She was accompanied by her
aide Traffic policewoman who also demonstrated
the procedure of directing the traffic and the
use of whistle. Together it was a very
interesting session.The children were thrilled
to see the policeman with her pistol, and also
the traffic police with the whistle. They now
had gained more knowledge about the profession.

Buddy Day
On 30th July 2011, our Jr. K.G.
children celebrated a special day -“Buddy Day”
In which their buddies ( one buddy per child)
were invited to school. At first, they played an
interesting race of balloons and then made
pretty photo frames of Ice cream sticks on which
they affixed their photographs. Then they played
the game of collecting the scattered items in a
bag pair wise. In this the buddy would collect
as many items as he could and put it in the bag
carried by our child, whosoever collected
maximum number of items got a big applause from
others. Then there was Body part dance in which
the children were joined by their buddies and
suggestions were given for both to join each
others heads and dance, then nose, shoulders
back etc.This was real fun, they enjoyed it.
Finally they were taken to classrooms where
tempting snacks were awaiting them. The children
and their buddies also made Monaco biscuit
Chats! They were relishing! This day was
celebrated as a culminating activity for the
theme “All about me”.

Visit To Sony
Palace Hotel
To make the children understand
the working of a hotel and the different kinds
of jobs involved for a hotel to run smoothly,
the school had conducted a field trip of Sr.K.G.
children to Hotel Sony Palace at Market Yard on
28th of July 2011. This was part of their
curriculum concept—“Professions”. The hotel
staff and ancillary cooperated very well. The
children were taken around to all the
departments of the hotel- the reception,
accounts, conference hall, the lodging rooms ,
house-keeping ,restaurant and the kitchen. They
observed the various heads conducting their
duties, the receptionist interacting with
customers and receiving phone calls, the manager
managing the various activities, the chefs
cooking delicacies , the waiters, porters and
bell boy perform their duties, the house keeping
busy with cleaning and maintaining the rooms as
well as the laundry. By the end of the trip the
children were thorough with their knowledge of
the harmonious working of all sections of the
hotel.

Sing Along Mummy
The Academic year 2011-2012
began with a very joyful activity ‘SING ALONG
MUMMY’ for the Nursery kids. It was conducted on
17th June 2011. All the Mothers were invited to
school at 11.15am. Mother’s danced wonderfully
with their cute little ones to the tunes of
Nursery rhymes along with the Class Teacher and
the Coordinator. The little ones were also
thrilled to dance with their Mothers. It was
aimed at providing an opportunity for both the
mothers and the kids to enjoy singing and
dancing together.

Daddy’s Day
The Special Activity Daddy’s
Day was conducted for the Nursery students on
22nd June 2011. This was in lieu of Fathers Day
which is celebrated on 3rd Sunday of June . The
fathers were invited to school at 10.45 am. Few
Games were arranged like Balloon toss game,
Chasing the balloon with cricket bat and Tug of
war for both the Daddy's and the kids which they
enjoy. There was music and movement. All the
fathers danced to the music . They had lots of
fun during the activities. It also helped for
social interaction between the fathers. It was
an enjoyable Daddy’s Day celebration.

Graduation Ceremony
Our Senior KG students
celebrated the Graduation ceremony on 8th April,
2011. On this auspicious day, the accomplishment
of the students were acknowledged. The parents
graced the occasion with their lovely presence.
The parents were compelled to go on a nostalgic
tour down the memory lane while watching the
special Slide Show, “Nostalgia 2010-11.” The
students were honoured with Graduation caps and
scarves. The program concluded with the
recitation of the poem “First Grade, First
Grade” by the students. Our Kids too shared
their experiences in the Pre-Primary school. It
was an emotional time for the students and
teachers.
